South Shore Veterans Park

The Park located on Bayshore Road offers residents picnicking, fitness trail, playground, 3 ball diamonds , basketball court, open space and an observation/sledding hill overlooking Lake Erie. Across the street from the park is the James Haley boardwalk along the shore of Lake Erie. During 1999, the word Veterans was added to the name of the park to recognize all the Oregon men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Pearson Park

The Park is located in the City of Oregon, but is maintained by the Toledo MetroPark System. It’s boundaries are Route 2/Navarre Avenue on the south, Lallendorf Road on the west, Seaman Road on the north and Wynn Road on the east. Peason Park offers fishing, sledding, a children’s playground, tennis courts, picnic grounds, walking and bicycle trails and a variety of nature programs.

Maumee Bay State Park offers 1,336 acres of not only the finest of recreational facilities in the Midwest, but also a unique natural environment created by the convergence of the land and Lake Erie.
